About DAAG Innovations
Small by design.Close to the work.
DAAG Innovations is a founder-led web design studio for UK businesses, kept deliberately small. The person you first speak to is the person who plans, designs and builds your website, shaped around your customers, your character and the next step you need people to take.
01 / Why DAAG exists
In the founder’s words
Why the studio was started, and what it is for.
Looks fine.Works for the business.
I started DAAG Innovations after seeing too many small businesses pay for websites that looked acceptable on the surface but did very little for the business behind them.
Often nothing was obviously broken. The site simply didn’t explain what the business did, didn’t feel like the business, and didn’t make it easy for a customer to get in touch.
DAAG exists to close that gap: to build websites that are clear, credible and genuinely useful, and to stay close enough to each project to get the details right.
What a website should do
- 01Explain the business clearly.
- 02Feel credible from the first glance.
- 03Reflect the real business, not a template.
- 04Make the next step obvious.
- 05Work properly across devices.
- 06Stay easy to maintain after launch.

A newer studio, and open about it.
DAAG doesn’t hide how recently it started. Being early means every project still gets personal attention, start to finish.

2023DAAG Innovations is founded
The studio is set up around one idea: different businesses deserve different websites, not one template with the colours changed.

Websites for healthcare practices, food businesses, local services and causes, each still handled the same way: closely and personally.
03 / Working together
No relay betweenyou and the work.
DAAG is a founder-led studio and deliberately small. The person you first speak to is the person who understands, designs and builds your website.
There is no salesperson passing your project to an account manager, then a designer, then a developer. The context stays with the person doing the work.
you and the work
01 Continuity
Nothing lost in a hand-over
The context from your first conversation is still there at launch, because it never had to be passed on.
02 Clarity
A straight answer, quickly
You always know who to ask, and the answer comes from someone who knows the project in detail.
03 Accountability
Decisions close to the work
Choices are made by the person responsible for the result, so nothing gets diluted along the way.
04 / Approach
How the workis handled.
Built on
- 01 / Principle
Understand before designing
A website makes sense when the business, the audience and the action you want visitors to take are understood first. So every project starts with questions, not colour palettes.
What does the business do best? Who needs convincing? What should a visitor do next?
- 02 / Principle
Design with a reason
Layout, typography, hierarchy and interaction are chosen to help someone understand and trust the business, rather than to follow whatever is fashionable this year.
- 03 / Principle
Build it cleanly
The finished site should be responsive across devices, quick to load, reliable and straightforward to update. Good structure is invisible, but it is what keeps a website working.
- 04 / Principle
Stay involved
Launch isn’t the end of the relationship. Updates, advice and ongoing help remain available after the website goes live.
05 / Different businesses
The website shouldchange with the business.
A surgeon, a butcher and a charity need very different things from a website. Choose a type of business to see what usually leads.
What usually leads
Clarity + trust
Patients look for reassurance first: who you are, what you treat and how to book. The design stays calm and the important information stays easy to find.
What usually leads
Product + personality
Butchers, bakeries and greengrocers sell on quality and character. Photography, provenance and opening details matter more than clever copy.
What usually leads
Credibility + next step
For solicitors and advisers, a site has to signal expertise quickly and make the first enquiry feel simple and low-risk.
What usually leads
Capability + contact
Engineering and trade businesses need to show what they can take on, where they work and how to start a conversation.
What usually leads
Style + booking
For barbers and similar businesses the work is the advert. A strong visual identity and an easy route to booking do most of the selling.
What usually leads
Purpose + action
A cause-led site has to explain why it matters, then turn interest into support, whether that means donating, volunteering or sharing.

UK-wide.
Most projects run remotely throughout the UK, using calls, email and shared previews.
In person, where useful. Face-to-face meetings can be arranged for suitable projects.
Nothing to inflate
DAAG doesn’t need to look bigger than it is. No inflated agency story, no invented team, no borrowed statistics. Just direct work, and one person accountable for it from the first conversation onwards.
